Join us for the July CAPS Meeting: Tips and Tricks to Simplify Aquascaping
Ever wondered how aquascapers create a beautiful planted aquarium? This month, we’re building one from the ground up—and showing you every step along the way!
We’ll be doing a hands-on demonstration of:
🪨 Hardscape Basics
Rock and wood placement
Gluing techniques
Separating aquasoil from gravel
🌿 Planting Techniques
Using wabi kusa in an aquascape
Preparing and planting tissue culture plants
Attaching ferns and Anubias to hardscape
✨ Putting It All Together
We’ll use these techniques to create a complete aquascape from start to finish, explaining the design decisions throughout the demonstration

At the end of the meeting, we’ll raffle off the completed aquarium—including the aquascape, aquarium, light, and filter—to one lucky attendee! You must be present to win.
Whether you’re new to planted tanks or have been aquascaping for years, you’ll pick up practical techniques you can use in your own aquarium—and one lucky member will go home with a beautiful new setup.
