‍ ‍Celebrating 10 Years of the Chicago Aquatic Plant Society!

For the past decade, the Chicago Aquatic Plant Society has brought together aquascapers, aquatic plant enthusiasts, aquarium hobbyists, and friends to build a community serving the greater Chicago area and beyond. Over the past ten years, we’ve shared an immeasurable amount of knowledge, plants, and inspiration all while welcoming many new and experienced hobbyists into our community. There are countless memorable moments to celebrate and we are incredibly grateful to everyone that has contributed to CAPS over the past 10 years.

To celebrate this huge milestone, our October meeting will be a special meeting with a short retrospective on the club’s history, some fun plant related activities for attendees, Aquarium Bingo with cool prizes, and some special raffle items to celebrate this special event.  It is sure to be a great time, and we will round it out with a celebratory cake and drinks!

CAPS also hosts free plant trading and a giveaway raffle for all in-person attendees at the meeting (must be present to win the raffle). Bring your plant clippings to trade and get your aquatic plants or aquascaping questions answered!
